How Do I Get Funding for Improved Daily Living?

If you are interested in accessing funding for improved daily living services through the NDIS, the first step is to become a participant in the program. To do so, you must meet certain eligibility criteria, including having a permanent disability that affects your daily activities and community participation, as well as being an Australian citizen or holding a permanent visa.

Once you have been approved for the NDIS, you will work with a planner or coordinator to create a plan that outlines the supports and services you need to reach your goals. This plan will include any funding available for improved daily living services. You can then use this funding to purchase the services you need from a provider of your choice, provided they are registered with the NDIS. Your planner or coordinator can help you find suitable providers and assist with coordinating your supports.
